Every „museum nerd“ knows digital collections by different museums. The Smithonian Collection, Rijksstudio and maybe some of you know Europeana. My interest in such platforms is on a low level. I’m sorry. But why should I take a look at digital collections? The master’s original is much more impressive! Well, this kind of thinking is out-of-date but since yesterday I am a fan of europeanaFASHION. Sketches, illustrations, shoes, hats, Haute Couture, prints, performances, divas, embroidery – nearly everything that lets a museumgirl’s heart beating up.
